 詩58:1 〔大衛的金詩、交與伶長、調用休要毀壞。〕世人哪、你們默然不語、真合公義麼．施行審判、豈按正直麼。
  Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?
 詩58:2 不然、你們是心中作惡．你們在地上秤出你們手所行的強暴。
  Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
 詩58:3 惡人一出母胎、就與　神疏遠．一離母腹、便走錯路、說謊話。
  The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
 詩58:4 他們的毒氣、好像蛇的毒氣．他們好像塞耳的聾虺、
  Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear;
 詩58:5 不聽行法術的聲音．雖用極靈的咒語、也是不聽。
  Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.
 詩58:6 　神阿、求你敲碎他們口中的牙．耶和華阿、求你敲掉少壯獅子的大牙。
  Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O Lord.
 詩58:7 願他們消滅如急流的水一般．他們瞅準射箭的時候、願箭頭彷彿砍斷。
  Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.
 詩58:8 願他們像蝸牛消化過去、又像婦人墜落未見天日的胎。
  As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.
 詩58:9 你們用荊棘燒火．鍋還未熱、他要用旋風把青的和燒著的一齊颳去。
  Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath.
 詩58:10 義人見仇敵遭報、就歡喜、要在惡人的血中洗腳。
  The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
 詩58:11 因此、人必說、義人誠然有善報．在地上果有施行判斷的　神。
  So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
